First, let me introduce our online school festival. We had held a school festival at school until last year. In our school festival, we researched the fascinations of Hamamatsu(Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan) and will give a presentation to everyone who visit us. But this year, we decided to hold it online because of the corona virus pandemic. I’d be happy you’ll enjoy learning about “Food Education” on our website.
We considered the Education and the Poverty in our hometown, Hamamatsu, from the pespective of SDGs last year. Interviewing the people who are providing free food service for children and working in Food Bank, we realized that there is starvation and satiation around us.
So we came to the conclusion that it is important for the solution of poverty and sustainability of developing countries to educate on food.

What is “Food Education” ???
It is to gain the knowledge of food and the ability of choosing food. And then, we practice the healthy eating habit. We thought that it was essential that children should be educated on food. In addition, school meals might also play an essential role.
